Course Overview

Chitwan is among a top tourist destination in Nepal. It provides travelers with opportunity to exploring wild life, glimpse of local culture, and various adventure activities from elephant back safari to dugout canoe ride
To address the growing demand of adventure tour combined with Yoga from our participants, we have come up with this special program that will make you feel more wonderful about Nepal and more importantly about your exploring and adventurous self.

Course includes

Whole body massage, yoga teaching, accommodation, dinner on the night of your arrival, clean water, breakfast, tea, lunch, snacks and dinner each day (except for those days when you will be Fasting), breakfast prior to departure.


First day (arrival day)

Arrival at the Sadhana Yoga Retreat between 3 and 5 pm or early. Chanting, orientation, evening yoga (one hour and half), dinner and candle light meditation

Day 2nd, 3rd and 4th (yoga & meditation at Sadhana Yoga)

Waking up at 5.30am you will follow the yoga and meditation schedule (see daily routine on the bottom) with the other guests that have been practicing at the retreat centre until 8pm.

Day 5th (transfer to Chitawan)

Farewell breakfast will be at 7:30am and then you will leave the centre to go to Chitwan which takes between 4-5 hrs. On the way we drive alongside beautiful rivers and landscape.
Upon arrival in Chitwan you will check in to a local standard hotel where you will be staying throughout the program.

Day 6th (boat trip & jungle walk)

On day 5th you will go on a magical boat trip on the Rapti River. You will observe crocodiles and different species of birds. Jungle walk with experienced guide and then on the way back beautiful sunset view. In the evening there will be cultural show.

Day 7th (elephant back safari)

On day you will visit Crocodile and Elephant Breeding centre then later in the day you will enter the National Park riding on Elephant to see from close- deers, birds, wild peacocks, wild boar, one-horned rhinos, and may even a Royal Bengal Tiger. You will do all these activities by elephant ride..

Day 8th (cultural village tour)

As Nepal is a country with cultural diversity one can find many communities belonging to different ethnic groups living together in harmony. In Chitwan there is a majority of Tharu ethnic group. You will be taken on an ox-cart to take a tour of the village. This will be an opportunity for you to explore traditional lifestyle of the Tharus; they also have a museum that you can visit. You will have the afternoon free to relax and be on your own.

Day 9th (farewell breakfast)

You will leave for your next destination after breakfast at the hotel.
